Hot Buttered Rum
Hot Buttered Rum Cocktail

Ingredients

1 ½ cups Cruzan Aged Dark Rum

5 cups hot water

2 cups packed brown sugar

½ cup salted butter

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

¼ ground allspice

Pinch of ground clove

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Cinnamon sticks

 

Directions

In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients except rum. Cover and cook on the low heat setting for about 5 hours. Stir in rum and pour into glasses or mugs. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and serve. Serves 8.
