Old Fashioned

The Recipe:

Place sugar in a glass and add bitters. Next, add water and muddle until dissolved. Place a large ice cube in glass and add whiskey. Stir lightly to combine. Garnish with an orange peel and a cherry.

Manhattan

The Recipe:

Place a glass in the freezer to chill. In a mixing glass with ice, add bourbon, vermouth and bitters. Stir gently and strain into chilled glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Whiskey Sour

The Recipe:

In a shaker, add bourbon, lemon juice, egg white (if using) and simple syrup. Dry shake. Then, add ice and shake again. Strain into a glass over fresh ice and garnish with a cherry and orange wedge.

Paper Plane

The Recipe:

In a shaker with ice, add bourbon, Amaro, lemon juice and Aperol. Shake and strain into a glass. Garnish with tiny paper plane.

Boulevardier

The Recipe:

Add bourbon, Campari and sweet vermouth into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled. Strain into a glass over fresh ice. Garnish with an orange twist.

Bourbon Smash

The Recipe:

In a cocktail shaker, muddle mint and lemon. Add bourbon and simple syrup. Shake well and strain into a glass over ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.

Knob Creek Clermont Collins

The Recipe:

In a mixing glass, add bourbon, amaro, vermouth, orange bitters and aromatic bitters. Add ice and stir until chilled. Strain into a glass, then zest an orange peel and use an orange twist garnish on the edge of the glass.

Woodford Vanilla Old Fashioned

The Recipe:

For the sugar syrup: Add sugar, water and vanilla extract in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Cool, then transfer to a reusable container. Syrup is usable for up to 1 month if kept refrigerated.

For the cocktail: In a mixing glass, add bourbon, vanilla brown sugar syrup and both bitters. Stir until chilled. Strain in a glass with a large ice cube and garnish with an orange peel and star anise.

Basil Hayden's Bramble

The Recipe:

Combine bourbon, lemon juice, blackberry brandy, blackberries and four basil leaves into a cocktail shaker with ice. Hard shake and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a basil leaf.

Spiced Berry Spritz

The Recipe:

Fill a glass with ice and add bourbon, Aperol and syrup. Top with Prosecco and stir. Squeeze in an orange slice and add to glass.

The Bee Sting

The Recipe:

Combine honey, blackberries and black pepper in a glass and muddle. Add lemon juice, bourbon and ice. Top with ginger beer and stir gently. Garnish with a lemon wedge, 3 blackberries on a cocktail pick and a sprinkle of black pepper.
